Optus Stadium

Optus Stadium is Perth’s state-of-the-art sports and entertainment arena. It is in the Burswood area and is truly amazing inside and out. It hosts sports like AFL and cricket as well as hosting live music performances. With a capacity of 60,000 people, it is the largest in the state. The stadium is located along the Swan River and the city can be seen in the background. Visitors of all ages have year-round access to the Stadium Park precinct's natural play spaces in the Chevron Parkland, the BHP Boardwalk and Amphitheatre, picnic and barbeque places, public art, and a variety of recreational amenities. A la carte or buffet restaurants with a view of the Swan River are also options for dining. In the Prix Versailles 2019 international architecture awards, Optus Stadium was named the Most Beautiful Sports Facility in the World in July 2019.
