Port Douglas

We arrived in Port Douglas and parked our van at our campsite for the night which was at Tropic Breeze caravan park. The beach was walking distance and it was an amazing view. It had all the things you expect from a tropical beach with coconuts and palm trees. The main strip has lots of restaurants and bars. We had dinner at The Mexican because we read great reviews of it and it didn’t let us down. Definitely a must if you’re ever in Port Douglas. The last and possibly most amazing thing we did was go snorkelling at the low isles which are a 15 minute boat trip from PD. There we saw lots of coral and tropical fish. We did a half day tour so it only took 2 hours but that was enough to see everything.

Port Douglas has amazing beaches and plenty to see, definitely a must stop when travelling through Queensland. See photos from our time there below.
